The self-penned "brown metal" crew undermines black metal conventions with shit, metaphorically and literally speaking. As with fellow spoofsters Blackthrone and Anaal Beehemoth, humour is used in an attempt to enliven unimpressive and generic music, which is similarly successful until the joke wears off -- which really is nothing more than a juvenile fascination with excretion -- the humour fades fast, unable to provide any appeal beyond initial curiosity and a few spins played for laughs after a six-pack or two. This may be their third release, but their main selling point is just too limited to provide for a career, even by underground standards.
