Necrocannibal - _Splatter Gore_
by: Pedro Azevedo (1 out of 5)
Ten tracks crammed into eleven minutes of gore-drenched grindcore, the release suffers from a terrible sounding drum machine that could make Mortician (who they also cover) sound reasonably good, and also a nearly non-existing guitar sound on most tracks (the production varies). All you have left is a flurry of artificial hyperspeed drum beats accompanied by generic grunts, with no riffs or rhythmic elements to speak of, and a few obligatory film samples. Grindcore can certainly be simplistic, but there's a lot more to it than this -- being a one-man band cannot excuse everything.
