CoC : Kormoss - Four : Review

This new demo from Kormoss is, on one hand, a fine one as far as musical quality is concerned; but on the other hand, they really sound a -lot- like Samael now. I had already detected similarities to Samael in their second demo, _Screams From Night-Mary_ [CoC #29], but _Four_ sounds a lot more like the Swiss band -- not just instrumentally, but also the vocals, which are remarkably similar. The keyboards, however, didn't seem to move much in Samael's direction, but the overall sound did, even though this still sounds more like death metal than Samael does now. At any rate, despite the lack of originality, this is another quality demo from Kormoss, who have already proved to have enough skill to justify the recording of a CD.
