Seven shadowy figures don their flowing robes and hooded (menacing) capes. In solemn single file, each crouches on all fours before the wooded mound and crawls through the curtain of stubborn tree roots into the muddy hovel delved into the side of the hill. Utter darkness falls over their eyes, creeps into the corners of their mouths, fills their nostrils. After untold time shuffling forward on his knees (there are no women here), the first in line stumbles on an object smooth, round, and hard. It is not a stone but a skull, he knows, to mark the entrance of the timeless cavern. He stands and gropes along the wall of the cave. His brothers follow, alternating left and right to lend balance to their underworld chapel. His fingers find the septstone, seven-sided and rough to the touch. Behind it lie the scrolls bearing the seven horrific incantations. He will unfurl them, but he will chant from memory. The darkness is complete.

For a time, they are seven under the earth... and then they are more. A great beast, all unseen but heard and felt and smelt... The thousand foot serpent's tail, coiled on itself like armored intestines, flows into a mightily veined torso whose shoulders branch to become two grasping, greedy arms. From the demon's thick neck bud seven living heads, massive horned creatures with dagger-lined jaws and broken, pitiful chains swinging from their heavily muscled necks. The writhing terror is sacred in its blasphemy, and holy in its obscenity. Each of the hooded figures feels the ferocious heat baking off of it, hears its hungry snuffling, and knows the ecstasy of his own doom. Each embraces his violent, lightless eternity.

Oh get off my back. _DSoSHaiIM_ is 25 minutes of lo-fi, slo-mo death doom in style of classic diSEMBOWELMENT. But wasn't the scene above way more fun to read?
