If an alt-Earth Iommi trapped a Hawkwind radio signal in a hyper-stretched tunnel through time-space and fed it frightening amounts of sonic steroids, this album might exist in multiple dimensions of reality (and maybe always has). Electronic pulses beam out an early melody through the phase-shifting '70s space frequencies. Riffs with their own gravitational fields burrow through Oort cloud objects and cortical neurons with equal force. Reverb-y mumblings echo meaningfully, impotently beneath the swirling building mass. There are no acknowledged beginnings or endings, just sound and silence and the infinite expanse between.

_Opus Primus_ is heavy, even when it's not. It's laced with fearlessness and dripping with dread. It's a dense ball of certainty winged with unanswerable questions. The only question for you is this: if this first half of the _Oro_ cycle can make me write all of the above, what might it do to you?
