You would have expected from a band who has hosted hotshots from bands such as Krieg, Exit-13, Candiru, Judas Iscariot, Sigh and Necrophagia to be at least half decent, but instead you are being served with the most simplistic, infantile and boring -- for lack of a better word -- metal product, with not as much as a single riff worth listening to.

The music captured on Hidden's _Dead Land Energy_ brings to mind the most retarded moments of Necrophagia's early albums, style and sound-wise; smudgy, incoherent, mostly blurred and dirty guitar tone and too much of that noisy and chaotic, rehashed nothingness to be dubbed as metal or into it, music altogether.

Slow and fast parts, driven by a simplistic drum work, accompanied by a tired and powerless guitar and tied together with less-than-adequate middle-ground vocals that are neither black nor death metal oriented, but bad nonetheless.

It's either this album's music has gotten lost in translation, or worse still, it simply exemplifies a plain and utter indifference towards the intelligent listener, for a selling point does not comprise big names in the metal underground; good music is the -only- selling point really, and the "music" contained within _Dead Land Energy_ is simply a turnoff. Avoid!
