This begs the question "Why?", one I cannot answer satisfactorily. I'm tempted to claim that this was hidden because it is rubbish (to be expanded upon shortly) but much worse has been inflicted upon unsuspecting metal fans by labels with far greater resources and budget than Merciless. Or maybe, just maybe, _Khiaoscuro_ was more popular than the label anticipated and a thin justification to release an earlier and inferior product.

The kindest description I can provide is that this is a demo compared to _Khiaoscuro_. All the essential elements are present, but not nearly as adept and within a rawer and more rudimentary framework. There is even an electronic intro, but not nearly as delightfully twisted as on... you guessed, it, _Khiaoscuro_.

Had this been a demo that I heard without the presence of _Khiaoscuro_ hovering like an anal retentive school teacher, this would have received a more positive review, but when an album is released or re-released after more than a decade, there better be a damn good reason for it and there simply isn't one.

If you're interested in how Traumatic Voyage formulated their sound, this may be worth a listen, otherwise don't bother -- and the booklet design and layout is absolute shit.
