_The Great Celestial Delusion_ is slack in the surprise department, and despite a valiant effort from all involved to inject a sense of aggression into the mix, it never sounds truly threatening. While "Enemy" and a stunning "Conceptual Decay" at least manage to elevate their melodies beyond the mundane levels found elsewhere, little doubt remains by the time the curtain is drawn on that no amount of technical know-how and nifty, organic production can save this from being just another in a slew of frustratingly faceless releases.
