These are all micro-editions, of course, and hell, for all I know this stuff is strictly one take and it's a wrap... but there are enough ambient layers of frazzled guitar chords, filtered percussion and treated sound effects that even if the foundation was largely improvised, it's readily apparent that at least -some- thought went into the final product. That said, this is about as avant bleak as it gets, a formless miasma of skittering electronics and bludgeoned guitar, with vocals that almost seem to literally split the sonic envelope, distorted into incomprehensibility, redlining at every opportunity. There are some serial killer interview samples that mostly come off as one big red herring; there is only one philosophic principle behind Gnaw Their Tongues, and that is a complete oblivion of the senses, a sort of aural root canal. And hey, if you survive this round, there's probably a limited 7" or hand made USB flash drive right around the corner...
