"Nyarlathotep... the crawling chaos... I am the last... I will tell the audient void..." (HP Lovecraft, "Nyarlathotep")

One of their selling points is that Noneuclid feature a former live member of the seminal Swiss band Celtic Frost, but Frost's visionary approach has not rubbed off on Noneuclid. No matter; Noneuclid are sufficiently solid exponents of thrash to render innovation superfluous to their needs, but only just. Out of the seven tracks on this album, two chug along aimlessly ("Void Bitch" and "Murder of Worlds" -- the latter is particularly overlong) whilst "Xenoglossy" is a half-hearted attempt at atmospherics. However, the remaining four tracks are classic thrash songs that have been on constant rotation on my stereo, despite suffering from a vocalist who sounds just a bit too much like Tom Araya. In future they definitely have the potential to pen a strong album, but while some songs are potential classics, the album as a whole certainly isn't.
