Opener "Dawn" presents their most accessible material, albeit with a somewhat proggy interlude, but is burdened by simply carrying on for too long, and judicial editing could have resulted in at three minutes been shaved off with no real loss. The vocals range between growls and moaning, but thankfully passable, clean singing.

"Hourglass" is a shorter but plodding number that has little merit, whilst "Rendezvous" is their best track, and in sharp contrast to its predecessor, possesses a clear sense of direction. It is comparatively varied, but lacking the accessibility of the opener.

The cumulative effect is that Nevetherym leave a distinct impression of having achieved the right mix of its constituent elements, but need to focus more attention on composing songs that capture the attention.
