In the unlikely event of their moniker providing an insufficient clue as to their focus, then the "Hostel"-meets-Hustler inlay collage should remove any lingering doubts as to their allegiance to brutal death / goregrind. The song length and comparative complexity suggests a leaning towards the former, but as the aforementioned collage proves, Feast of Corpses can hold their own with the likes of (old) Carcass. Occasionally, a distinctively thrash melody (the same ones overused by the melodeathcore crowd) emerges, but it is so deeply embedded within their vicious constructs that it is barely recognisable as such. Either that or they are supremely confidant to pen numbers such as "Graveyard Gore". 'Innovation' may be a four letter word for them, but compensated for by an above average performance and compositions.
