This in itself won't be enough to save bad music, but it can elevate the average to good, and the good to excellent. The presence of the Czech Film Orchestra adds a dimension missing on most other works of this nature, but it feels as if they have been underutilized.

As is common for symphonic orientated acts, this is a female fronted band, with above average but not overly technical vocals. The remaining musicians do their job, but no-one is going to buy this for the drumming or guitar playing, but rather for the combination of true symphonic grandeur and lush vocals within a strongly melodic context, albeit with a few fillers -- for example, "Gate Rider" is nothing more than a cheesy and superfluous ballad. Regardless, Edenbridge's third album is potent enough to elevate them above the "Nightwish-lite" tag they have been unfairly burdened with.
