The question, however, is whether they're able to deliver the goods. The likes of "Advancing Once More" and "Inferno at the Carpathian Mountains" certainly put up a strong case for the defence; skilfully crafted vintage death metal distilled through a production job that's just got enough of a modern taint to stop them being an all-out exercise in nostalgia. Whether you're likely to hear anything whatsoever on _...Of Frost and War_ that you haven't heard a hundred times before is another matter entirely, ultimately coming down to whether you feel a band like this is worth shelling out your hard-earned dosh for.
