This would certainly be true of Ezurate. However, this does not automatically mean that such an album is deserving of the re-recording treatment. However, Ezurate hardly compare with the above trio in terms of sales, and this combined with the fact that I have not heard the original version means that I am prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt, but have declined to provide a rating.

The original version was originally released in 2000 on Forever Underground Records, and must have been truly horrible for this to be considered a significant improvement, as the production is far from adequate. The drums sound hollow, the omnipresent double bass is highly distracting, and together with the vocals are too high in the mix and threaten to overwhelm the guitars.

_Infernal Dominatio_ is less overtly allied to so-called "Norsecore" than its better-produced and incisive successor, and with the same production, would be of an equal standard. The question is: why wasn't it? This was re-recorded in the same year as _Blasphemous Hierarchy_, which has a much better production, so I can't understand why it sounds so inferior. Production and re-recording issues aside, the songs are not nearly as punishing as _Blasphemous Hierarchy_, and irrespective of what the original may have sounded like, it really shouldn't have received the re-recording treatment. For die-hard Ezurate fans only.
