The mix is decent, staying away from the shoddy production of newer acts but still retaining a raw and uncompromising sound. The vocals and the pitch are both higher than Haatstrijd (another project featuring Funeral Winds members). Although they occasionally slow down, they clearly prefer relentless blasting, coming dangerously close to the oft derided "norsecore" sound (think Marduk, Dark Funeral). However, the unusual high-pitched snarl may mean that it will take a while to get used to Weltbrand -- but in the end it's worth it.
