Legions of War - _Mission to Kill_
by: Quentin Kalis (3 out of 5)
The third assault from militant Swedes Legions of War continues down the path of retro-minded thrash set by its predecessor. This is a version that has been heard in numerous manifestations over the years, albeit with the addition of a melancholic reflectiveness befitting the aftermath of war, rather than the act itself, and breathing new life into an exhausted corpse. This is insufficient to fully rejuvenate said cadaver, and in the absence of evidence to suggest Legions of War have adopted or adapted old-school thrash for their own needs, a touch of the melancholic is insufficient to sustain interests. Still, it is an improvement on the previous demo and that's really all that is needed at this stage of their career.
