Helangår - _[kwIn’tes sens]_
(Independent, 2008)
by: Chaim Drishner (1.5 out of 10)
A truly awful release from this young German duo that bitterly fails at trying to compose some spiritual and folk-ish heavy metal. Terrible off-key and almost impotent, ridiculous and powerless vocals; lack of sense of rhythm; and musical ideas that really go nowhere.

This album sounds almost like an improvisation, an after-thought, an unripe fruit of half-realized ideas which stray off from being matured and materialized into some coherent musical construction; as soon as one thinks there's something good materializing, the "musicians" do whatever they can to ruin what had been budding. They throw ideas mindlessly, but their ambitions stand in stark contrast to their ability to even half-realize such grand ideas.

Altogether a half-baked musical after-thought that's as frustrating (due to the good ideas being ruthlessly slaughtered and the overkill of such) as it is a complete waste of time.
