Ugh! It's loud, poorly recorded and, extremely lame at times. Welcome to the world of Abscess. The music of Abscess floats in an endless supply of reckless guitar riffs, screams, bad lyrics, and sick, demented humor. Most of the time, the songs (i.e. "Freak Fuck Fest", "Burn, Die And Fucking Fry" and "Removing The Leech") are an endless supply of bad, loud music that seems to make the listener cringe and want to turn off the music. So why would we listen to this? Humor? A fascination with sick humor? A lust for multiple music styles? I can see some of the reasoning behind cranking up an Abscess record, much like an Anal Cunt record, to be amused by someone's idea of being as loud or as sick as possible. That's about it. This material gets old real fast.
